Thrama Plus:  Basic color is red and its derivatives.  The Plus lenses are sports lenses that increase visual efficiency and the degree of image definition in poor visibility and flat light conditions.  It is for this reason that they are ideal for speed sports, even in extreme conditions and situations.  They cut back the reaction time to improve both sports performance and safety.  The selective Thrama Plus filter is covered by international patents and has been tested by qualified scientific institutes.

Thrama 4000:  Basic color is brown and its derivatives.  This name identifies the sports lenses that favor comfort in strong light situations.  These filters increase contrast and reduce glare so as to make them perfect for being used in full sun conditions, even at a high altitude.

H-Color:  This lens is available in the classic gray hue.  Maintaining contrast and minimizing color change, it is relaxing, even during extended periods of use.  Reducing potentially dangerous blue light, this lens improves definition, allows for sharper vision and increased contrast and depth.

MTX-Spectrum:  Highly technological lenses treated in controlled environment where precious materials are made to sublime with an ion cannon, thus allowing a high number of extremely thin layers of material to deposit in a uniform manner on the outer surface.  This special process makes the lenses high resistant and long lasting, and creates the mirror finishes particularly shiny and iridescent hue.  They are available in a variety of color bases: Gray, Brown and Clear. These lenses are extremely versatile due to their ability to maintain contrast.  Recommended when weather is overcast or foggy.

Polar:  Polarized lenses are superior quality that are able to cancel the reflections coming off horizontal surfaces (water, snow and sand), a feature that makes them suitable for use in strong light conditions in sea, lake or mountain environments.  Available on green, smoke and brown base.

GRX-Spectrum:  This series of lenses offer progressive top to bottom shading that allows light radiation to be absorbed gradually. The mirroring on the lenses eliminates excessive brightness and provides maximum comfort for the eyes. These lenses are ideal for variable days when light and shade alternate.

Summit Series:  Designed for activities in extreme light conditions, like those found at high altitude in the mountains, when there is snow and ice and in the desert, where the light is strong and sun radiation is intense.  These special lenses are characterized by a very low transmittance (5%) that protects the eye from damaging ultraviolet radiations.  Available in two different versions, mirrored blue and bronze on Gray base color; these lenses maintian contrast without altering colors so that the eyes do not tire, even during long-term use. 

TRX-Spectrum:  Lenses characterized by a brand new type of mirroring obtained by combining layers of chrome and silicon in an absolutely original way.  This treatment gives them a grip, lifetime and transmission comparable to the multi-layered mirror finishes, while nevertheless granting the lens a smoother and more slippery surface that makes cleaning them easier because it prevents dirt from settling.  The smoke hue maintains the contrasts and does not alter the colors.  It is relaxing and suitable for all types of outdoor activities.

HC-Golf:  These are special lenses expressly researched for those who play golf, a sport where visual performance is a critical parameter due to the changing light conditions and the morphology of the outdoor environment.  Targeted research ahs allowed Briko to come up with a product that is absolutely on the cutting edge. The two colors available--one darker, and one lighter--always makes the white ball on the golf course be clearly distinct, no matter what the light conditions are, by smoothing the contrasts and preventing the visual strain phenomenon from forming.  The Golf Violet hue is intended for overcast days, whereas Golf Cobalt is ideal for sunny days.  Thanks to the new HC Golf lenses, now you can follow the ball all along the way, from preparing the stroke up to its point of arrival (green background), not to mention its flight in the sky.  Both versions also guarantee total protection against harmful ultraviolet rays.

Like all great teams, also Briko lenses want to present themselves in the best of ways.  And here are two different containers, one for each team, which will let you experience and appreciate the quality of each lens.  When they have to be selected, it's the individuals' job to draw attention to themselves.

Environment:
Mountains:  Lenses suitable for use in an alpine environment, especially in winter, when the light is so intense that it could cause damage to the retina and make focusing difficult.  The main feature of these lenses is their ability to eliminate any excessive light, so leaving the eye comfortable.  In particular, Thrama lenses offer a selective filtration of the blue component of the solar spectrum.
Land:  Lenses that are able to increase the contrast capability so enabling the eye to receive high quality visual information at all times, as a result of the best ratio between color quality and light quality which the filter let through.  Thanks to the selective filtration of three primary colors of the spectrum, blue, red and green, these lenses are the ideal choice for a great number of activities, from competitive cycling to trekking.
Water:  Lenses that can eliminate more than 99% of reflections given off by horizontal and reflecting surfaces such as water, snow and ice.  This is due to their high degree of polarization, that is by selectively filtering the reflected light, so preventing the light from passing through the glasses.  The result is high visual quality and exceptional comfort even in the most difficult conditions, e.g. on a boat or the snow.

Brightness:
Intense:  For intense, bright conditions.
Medium:  For medium to high bright light conditions.
Poor:  For conditions with poor light or visibility (fog, haze, flat light)

Treatment:
Matic:  This is the exclusive photochromatic treatment that automatically changes the lenses' color and the absorption of light as the intensity of solar rays changes.  Light transmission and filter category relate to the activated and to the not activated lenses.
Active:  Multiple layers of thin metallic and dielectric films are laid in controlled atmosphere, which permit excessive light to be reflected to consequently increase visual comfort.
Anti-Fog:  A surface treatment that prevents the lenses from misting, so as to avoid visibility problems in critical conditions.

Light Transmission:  The "light transmission" value denotes the amount of light that the lens lets pass through.  The higher the value, the less amount of light the lens absorbs (or the lighter the lens)

Filter Category:  Value assigned by EC regulations (EN 1836) to identify the lens functioning range.  The higher its value, the more light the lens absorbs and the less light it lets pass through.

In order to choose, it is fundamental you know the features of each product well and the more precise the description is of what is wanted, the greater the possibility of meeting various needs will be. That is why Briko has decided to present all of the main technical features of the entire range of lenses it makes in detail, with the awareness that it has a solution for all vision problems.

Hi-Fi Vision:  A collection of lenses of the highest quality that are available in various colors, each of which having its specific properties.  Reduction of the blue light (potentially dangerous for the eyes), improved definition of outlines to guarantee sharper vision, greater brightness, increased contrasts and depth of vision:  these are the winning features of the technical Hi-Fi Vision lenses.

Clear:  A transparent lens capable of increasing visual comfort in poor lighting conditions (for example during night-time skiing) and at the same time protecting against UVA and UVB rays.

Reflex:  Special treatment that consists of placing metallic particles on the lens' surface, thus allowing excess lighting to be debilitated to increase visual comfort.

All the Briko Thrama system lenses should be washed with soap and water.  Do not rub the Strato lenses dry, but pat them dry.  The use of alcohol or detergents for glasses should absolutely be avoided.
