Uvex JAKK Take Off Ski Goggle Information
Fresh freeride experience
Stopping along the edge of Corbet’s Couloir and clearing fogged up goggles? Impossible. Off piste you need to be able to trust your equipment 100 percent.
Fogged goggles are only a distant memory with the new uvex JAKK. The combination of the JAKK+ helmet and the new uvex freeride goggle, forms a closed system: the JAKK VENT SYSTEM. The elaborate ventilation channels on the inside of the new thought-through uvex hard shell helmet not only offer a high level of wearing comfort, but they ventilate the goggle at the same time.
Changing weather loses its disturbing power: with the tried and tested take-off technology, your poor weather goggles can change from a bright tone to a dark toned goggle for bright sunlight in the blink of an eye – and vice versa. Four miniature magnets fix the dark lens in front of the goggle for bright sunlight. The trick: When visibility decreases, the dark lens can be removed while still wearing your gloves and fits into any pocket. The magnets hold the take-off lens in position even in case of falls. The four lenses of the JAKK TO-models protect your eyes 100 percent against harmful UVA-, UVB- and UVC-rays.
Nothing slips, nothing wiggles, and nothing will take your concentration off your next powder turn. This revolutionary new JAKK vent-system and JAKK-goggles creates the ultimate uvex kit. The pre-formed goggle pads adapt perfectly to your facial features and the soft velour is gentle to your skin. The extra-elastic goggle strap is supplied with small silicone pads for a stable hold on the helmet. A waterproof breathable membrane provides additional climate control behind the visor.
