The inventors of Switch demanded better sunwear options.  Traditional fixed lens sunglasses work well in some light conditions, but not others.  Mechanical interchange lens systems are clumsy and can be difficult to use.  Contact lens wearers need plano sunglasses some days and Rx suns on others.  Between carrying around multiple, bulky sunglasses and pulling and prying mechanical interchange lenses in and out, they felt there had to be a better way.  Then it came to them:  "magnets".

Switch Frame Technology:
Frame Construction:  Made with tough superior grade thremoplastic nylon to withstand the demands of your sports lifestyle. 
Fog Management:  Switch frames, lens shapes and nose pads have been designed to enable air to flow into the eye chamber to minimize fog build-up. 
Magnetic Attraction:  Switch frames and lenses use large, embedded high-energy magnets to maximize magnetic adhesion of the lenses in frame.  Lenses stay securely in the frame, even if the sunglasses are dropped or subjected to the intense jarring that occurs when skiing, snowboarding, running or mountain biking. 
Fit Security and Stabilization:  Contact surfaces in the temples and bridge utilize a specially formulated TPR rubber to increase grip rather than slip when it becomes moist from sweat, snow or rain. 
3-Point Comfort Fit:  Switch frames are balanced to distribute weight equally on the bridge and behind the ear.  Our temples have been developted to distribute pressure along a wide surface area to avoid pinching.
