&lt;p&gt;Single power through the whole lens for distance vision and those who don't need reading glasses. This is the most popular option. &lt;p&gt;Digitally (HD) manufactured lenses create a wider field of view in focus as well as less errors and aberrations across the lens. Analogous to HDTV versus standard definition TV. Upgrade can be added to any standard lenses (i.e clear, transitions, etc.)&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Corrects for distance and reading only. Nothing in between.&nbsp; Distance is considered 2 feet or more.&nbsp; Reading is considered 6 to 12 inches.&nbsp; With bifocals, you’ll lose that in between range of 12 inches to 2 feet.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;For those that have a prescription for both distance and reading, progressive “bifocals” allow you to see every possible range. There is also no visible line.&nbsp; The downside to progressives is that you have a more limited range of vision in each “zone”. Basic progressives will have less peripheral vision and the transition between each distance of power may be more choppy forcing larger head movements to see objects more clearly.&nbsp; All progressives require measurements. &nbsp;Frames will be sent to you first to get measured and will not come with the prescription lenses installed. You then need to send it back to us with measurements for fulfillment of prescription lenses. &nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

Progressives require measurements. &nbsp;Frames will be sent to you first to get measured and will not come with the prescription lenses installed. You then need to send it back to us with measurements for fulfillment of prescription lenses. &nbsp;If you want the best progressive technology but don’t need to maximize distance (for safety eyewear or other more every day use eyewear), please let us know and we can make that switch for you.&nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Thinner and lighter than CR-39 and high impact resistance.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Trivex is impact resistant but with better optical clarity than polycarbonate.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Helps prevents scratches on lenses. Comes with one year warranty against scratches.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&nbsp;IC No fog helps to keep lenses free of fog.&nbsp; Comes with activating drops (one year supply).&nbsp; Coating stays activated for a few days, and you can rejuvenate the coating with the drops.&nbsp; Coated on both sides of the lenses (unless you order a mirror or anti-reflective coating--then it is backside only).&nbsp; Can be added to any tints and mirror coated lenses including photochromics. &nbsp; If you order a lens that cannot be coated with the specified coating you order, we will substitute for this brand.&nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Optifog helps lenses resist fogging.&nbsp; The Optifog product with TD2 Scratch coating with a 2 year scratch warranty.&nbsp; Coating is on both sides of the lenses. This fog coating works in conjunction with an activator cloths that last for about a week. There is no distortion or loss of vision with this activator versus other spray or gel type defoggers. This coating can only be added to clear lenses. No tints or photochromic lenses.&nbsp;&nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Our basic fog coating is applied only to the backside of the lenses only and helps to reduce fogging. It is only available on polycarbonate lenses, and can only be made on certain prescription powers/strengths. &nbsp;It also includes a backside scratch coating.&nbsp; It doesn't have to be reactivated. Since it is a low end coating, it does have the tendency to break down faster.&nbsp; Cannot be combined with any other coatings.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;IC No Fog Elite is the same as IC No fog but it is more permanent. It doesn’t need frequent activation.&nbsp; Fog coating resists fogging.&nbsp; Coated on both sides of the lenses (unless you order a mirror or anti-reflective coating--then it is backside only).&nbsp; Can be added to any tints and mirror coated lenses including photochromics. &nbsp; If you order a lens that cannot be coated with the specified coating you order, we will substitute for this brand.&nbsp; Does not need activation.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Higher end Anti-Glare coating that also prevents harmful blue light (HEV) from digital devices and from sand, snow and high altitudes&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;“Lens Thinning” technology is a process developed to minimize the thickness and weight of a prescription lens. Outside the optimal optical area, “Lens Thinning” reduces the thickness with a gradual change in curvature, resulting in a thinner and lighter lens. (note this does mean that the outer edges where this thinning process is done will be blurred out)&nbsp; High prescriptions or lenses for high wrap sport frames often end up being thick and heavy. Thinning of lenses with “Lens Thinning” technology offers the chance of making those lenses that were previously impossible due to their thickness.&nbsp; “Lens Thinning” feature is available with Free Form Digital lenses only, and is only compatible with IC fog coatings.&nbsp;Not available on CR-39 or Hi-Index lens materials.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Aspheric lenses make thicker prescriptions come out cosmetically nicer by causing less lens edge thickness and reducing magnification appearance of plus lens powers.&lt;/p&gt;
