Advanced Construction Technology:
In-Mold Technology: The construction of our helmets is based on the new
In-Mold manufacturing and technology architecture. This innovative
technology is used to inject styrofoam in the mold containing the polycarbonate
shell at very high pressure, merging the two elements to form a seamless rigid
structure, more impact resistant and lighter than any other helmet produced up
to now.
IPG-Impact Protection Grid: IPG is the innovative Rudy Project technology
which provides superior protection and demonstrates our commitment to your
safety. A reinforced grid structure is directly molded into the styrofoam
creating a 'safety cage' insuring superlative impact resistance.
Flow Through Ventilation: Thanks to the shape and scientific positioning
of the external air openings and the unique air channel designs carved inside
the shell, our helmets are extremely ventilated and comfortable to wear--even on
the hottest climbs.
Internal Padding:
Interchangeable: Our latest innovation for riders protection and comfort.
Two interchangeable and washable microporous paddings, with and without
protective net let you manage the flow-through ventilation.
Custom Padding: The internal padding is made of a microporous foam bonded
with non-allergic, antiperspiration pile fabric. Its design and position
inside the shell, combined with the action of the retention system make our
helmets extremely safe and comfortable.
Retention System:
RSR 6 Disc: The latest development in Rudy Project technology: a toothed
disc with reinforced runners, special protective wings and rear panel with
diagonal holes for fixing straps. Precise micrometric tightening and
height adjustment provide a perfect, personal fit and excellent stability.
Easily adjusted even while wearing the helmet.
RSR Micro T: This system consists of a track with micrometric closure
slides, designed to ensure a snug fit and total comfort. Easy to adjust,
safe and well balanced.
RSR Disc: The Helmet Holding R.S.R Disk is an integral part of the helmet
and makes it safe and comfortable. The system is based on a rotary disk
that ensures simple, rapid adjustment while wearing the helmet.
Closure Buckle:
Fastex® Buckle: The Fastex system is a simple
and quick snap lock buckle, extremely user friendly, which ensure a perfect fit
and maximum stability.
Twist Loop Buckle: The new Twist Loop system features a 90° rotating
slider to regulate and block straps quickly and precisely even while riding to
eliminate any interference with your ears.
Safety-Comfort &
Adjustability:
360 Comfort Head Ring: The exclusive Rudy Project 360 Comfort Head Ring
technology provides superior comfort and perfectly balanced stability on the
head. Designed and engineered to be adjustable in length through the
retention system and fine-tuned in height (2 positions), the whole ring is also
removable for maintenance and cleaning.
Safety Reflect
System:
Helmets are equipped with strategically placed night glow stickers which ensure
visibility in dark light conditions.
