About the Company:

Shannen Knight is the owner of A Sight for Sport Eyes, and the author of this page. She has a degree in Marketing from USC, and is a board certified dispensing optician. She has worked in the optical industry for over 25 years, and saw this as a growing niche in the industry. She is an aspiring business woman, and has been published in several trade journals as an expert in the field of sports eyewear and sunglasses.

A Sight for Sport Eyes has been in operation since 1996. It was founded to educate the public about the growing risk of eye injuries and the permanence of their effects. Sports eyewear is a specialty niche in the optical market, as more and more people are taking the necessary precautions to protect their eyes. Shannen has always loved and participated in many sports, and saw this as a perfect opportunity to help the public learn more about these products.
