MTX-N is a classic design single body goggle that despite its vintage look offers all of the Raleri PRORIDE Goggles family the technological features. Raleri PRORIDE Goggles are strictly MADE IN ITALY. This means that ALL the manufacturing process is made in Italy. Raleri distortion free Fogstop lenses are top quality, scratch proof and UV protective. PRORIDE Goggles design is comfortable thanks to the memory foam effect and is highly compatible with helmets. The triple foam finish with external soft pile layer is rugged but soft and hypo allergenic: you'll forget about wearing them. Whenever you're using off-road vehicles or MTBs, Raleri goggles will allow hours of true performance preventing moisture, eye strain and discomfort from wasting your riding experience.
The Soft Frame Shell - Raleri has chosen to build its frames with the best materials available paying attention to comfort, to helmet fitting and to the capability to host any special lens that will be available in the future. The special moulding technology allow the frame to be extremely flexible. Rugged, lightweight and free of rigid parts, PRORIDE Soft Frames are completed with filtered air intakes with washable filters and triple layer foam with pile on the face side. Those frames are designed for a top durability. Soft Frame means "soft mount". The frame having no rigid parts allows top level lightness and comfort and moreover in case of impact it will preserve your face from the bad surprises often given by rigid shells. Watch the side video to better understand what we mean with Soft Frame. Our shatterproof polycarbonate lenses complete this product in the best way respecting its unique ruggedness and safety specifications.
Raleri Prescription Information
This frame utilizes a prescription adapter. This is a piece that carries the prescription and snaps in behind the front lens of the sunglasses. This allows higher prescription availability with the coverage of a large, wrap sunglass lens. It also creates a smaller prescription lens surface area to reduce weight and thickness of prescription lenses. Prescription range +6.00 to -8.00 total power (sphere plus cyliinder). Most popular prescription options listed. Additional coatings can be added on prescription information page. Since insert sits behind goggle lenses, only clear lenses are recommended. Estimated processing time: 5 to 7 working days. Coatings will add a week.
Sizing Information:
If you look at the description on most product descriptions, we have the "eyesize" measurements. Glasses are not measured in sizes like clothes or shoes. Frames can fit differently on each person's nose or ears. The best option is to try for fit. But you can use the "eyesize" to give you an idea of size. You can double the "A" measurement, add the DBL (nose bridge) and get an approximation of width. However, if the glasses are wrap around, the "eyesize" will be bigger since it wraps around the sides. Thus, comparing the eyesize of your regular glasses doesn't always work. If you are unsure about size, you can also contact us for a recommendation. For more information on how eyesize works, check out our eyesize video.
What is a "PD"
PD (pupil distance) tells us how to center the "sweet spot" of the prescription right in front of your pupil for the best vision. If this is not on your prescription, you can contact wherever you made glasses (not necessarily your eye doctor) to get this information. Or see below on how to measure yourself.
What is "Add"
Add is your reading prescription power. If you wear bifocals or progressives, you will need this. If you don't wear bifcoals or progressives (typically people over 40) then you can skip this.
