&lt;p&gt;Single power through the whole lens for distance vision and those who don't need reading glasses. This is the most popular option. &lt;p&gt;Corrects for distance and reading only. Nothing in between.&nbsp; Distance is considered 2 feet or more.&nbsp; Reading is considered 6 to 12 inches.&nbsp; With bifocals, you’ll lose that in between range of 12 inches to 2 feet&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;For those that have a prescription for both distance and reading, progressive “bifocals” allow you to see every possible range. There is also no visible line.&nbsp; The downside to progressives is that you have a more limited range of vision in each “zone”. Basic progressives will have less peripheral vision and the transition between each distance of power may be more choppy forcing larger head movements to see objects more clearly.&nbsp; All progressives require measurements. &nbsp;Frames will be sent to you first to get measured and will not come with the prescription lenses installed.
