Gearbox Vision Pickleball Glasses Information
The Gearbox Vision Eyewear was designed with safety in mind. All Gearbox eyewear feature both an Anti-Scratch and an Anti-Fog Coating giving you clear crisp vision every time you step on the court. Tested for safety and loved by our professionals. This eyewear offers UV400 protection and may be used for both indoor and outdoor play.
The blue tint helps reduce glare, enhance clarity and contour images so that you can keep your eye on the ball.
Smoke tint works well for outdoor play in brighter light conditions.
With the increasing need to track balls at high speeds especially in a dim court, Gearbox has created the Amber Lens eyewear. This eyewear will help brighten up a dim court giving the ball contrast as it speeds through helping you keep your eye on the ball.
The Slim Fit offers a smaller sized frame making them excellent for women, men with a more narrow face or junior players.

Sizing Information:
If you look at the description on most product descriptions, we have the "eyesize" measurements. Glasses are not measured in sizes like clothes or shoes. Frames can fit differently on each person's nose or ears. The best option is to try for fit. But you can use the "eyesize" to give you an idea of size. You can double the "A" measurement, add the DBL (nose bridge) and get an approximation of width. However, if the glasses are wrap around, the "eyesize" will be bigger since it wraps around the sides. Thus, comparing the eyesize of your regular glasses doesn't always work. If you are unsure about size, you can also contact us for a recommendation. For more information on how eyesize works, check out our eyesize video.
What is a "PD"
PD (pupil distance) tells us how to center the "sweet spot" of the prescription right in front of your pupil for the best vision. If this is not on your prescription, you can contact wherever you made glasses (not necessarily your eye doctor) to get this information. Or see below on how to measure yourself.
What is "Add"
Add is your reading prescription power. If you wear bifocals or progressives, you will need this. If you don't wear bifcoals or progressives (typically people over 40) then you can skip this.
