Frequently Asked Questions

Are the prescription lenses Ranger Authentic lenses?
No at this time we are not doing prescription lenses directly with Ranger
If I order the 3 lens package does it come with 3 prescription lenses?
No you only get one prescription lens. If you want to order multiple colors, we have multiple lens discounts but the site will only let you order one lens at a time. Please contact us to purchase multiple colors
Why is it asking me to pick a color of the lens in prescription? Isn't the color the same as what I see shown in the frame I selected?

When we do a prescription lens we start from scratch. The lens that is shown in the picture is the "non-prescription" lens. We essentially trash that lens and start with prescription lens material and build a new lens for prescription. Thus, whatever you pick for the non-prescription (picture) of the glasses is not what you will get in prescription. For instance, if you pick "clear" for the prescription lens option because it is the cheapest option, you'll get clear lenses (for night or indoor use). If you want the prescription lens to be that same color as pictured, you would go through the prescription options and find that color in the list and pick that color. If it is mirrored, you would pick the base color and then in the options section add the mirror color. If you have any questions, please contact us.

What is PD, and why do you need it for my prescription?

PD stands for pupillary distance. It measures the distance between your pupils and helps us position the optical center of your prescription lenses correctly in front of your eyes. If your PD isn't listed on your prescription, you can ask the optical provider who made your previous glasses for it or measure it using SportEyes' PD instructions.

How do I submit my prescription?

When ordering a product with prescription options, select the prescription option on the product page and choose your lens options. During the prescription step, you can either upload a copy of your prescription or enter the prescription values using the provided fields. If you need help entering your prescription, contact SportEyes and our team can assist you.

How long will it take for my order to come in?

Non-prescription orders may be subject to a 1-5 processing delay. If you are in a hurry, contact us to check stock. Prescription lenses are custom made to your exact specification. Thus they average about 2 weeks but can take longer if lenses don't pass quality control first time around.
