Smith 4D Mag Product Information
Whether you're dropping in on a hike-to line or charging through a storm day at the resort, the Smith 4D XL goggles set you up with the best field of view possible. They combine the unmatched peripheral range of our BirdsEye Vision™ lens with an oversize XL frame and the terrain boosting optics of ChromaPop™, so you don't miss a wind lip or terrain change. Our MAG lens-change tech lets you swap lenses to match the light conditions with ease. Their XL size makes them the only OTG compatible goggles in our 4D lineup. Buckle up and embrace the fall line with confidence.
Features:
- SmithMAG™interchangeable systemIncludes bright light and low light ChromaPop™performance lenses; normally the eye has trouble distinguishing colors where the blue/green and the green/red wavelengths cross over. ChromaPop™ filters these specific crossovers for greater definition, natural color, and clarity.
- Smith MAG™ lens change system: MAG technology allows you to quickly change lenses for any riding condition. Strong and weatherproof magnets guide the lens into the secure anchored position. Once in position, the lens carrier provides a patent-pending dual locking mechanical engagement to secure the lens. With the Smith MAG’s two locking mechanisms, the lens stays locked tight for whatever the hill throws at you. A simple push of one lever at either side of the lens releases the lens for easy swapping as the light and conditions change. Strong and weatherproof N52 magnets automatically guide the lens into the anchored position. The magnetic function speeds up lens changes to get you back out riding faster.

Smith Prescription Information
This frame utilizes a prescription adapter. This is a piece that carries the prescription and snaps in behind the front lens of the goggles or sunglasses. This allows higher prescription availability with the coverage of a large, wrap sunglass lens. It also creates a smaller prescription lens surface area to reduce weight and thickness of prescription lenses. Prescription range +6.00 to -8.00 total power (sphere plus cyliinder). Most popular prescription options listed. Additional coatings can be added on prescription information page. Since insert sits behind goggle lenses, only clear lenses are recommended. Estimated processing time: 5 to 7 working days. Coatings will add a week.
Sizing Information:
If you look at the description on most product descriptions, we have the "eyesize" measurements. Glasses are not measured in sizes like clothes or shoes. Frames can fit differently on each person's nose or ears. The best option is to try for fit. But you can use the "eyesize" to give you an idea of size. You can double the "A" measurement, add the DBL (nose bridge) and get an approximation of width. However, if the glasses are wrap around, the "eyesize" will be bigger since it wraps around the sides. Thus, comparing the eyesize of your regular glasses doesn't always work. If you are unsure about size, you can also contact us for a recommendation. For more information on how eyesize works, check out our eyesize video.
What is a "PD"
PD (pupil distance) tells us how to center the "sweet spot" of the prescription right in front of your pupil for the best vision. If this is not on your prescription, you can contact wherever you made glasses (not necessarily your eye doctor) to get this information. Or see below on how to measure yourself.
What is "Add"
Add is your reading prescription power. If you wear bifocals or progressives, you will need this. If you don't wear bifcoals or progressives (typically people over 40) then you can skip this.
