Choosing the Right Prescription Option

Confused about which prescription option would be right for you? Let's clear that up. At Sporteyes, we make it easy for you to identify the availability of prescription lenses for our scuba masks through specific symbols. Here's what they mean:

1. RX6: This symbol indicates a full lens prescription covering the mask. It's the most popular option but has some limitations.

2. RXSTEP: If you don't have significant astigmatism (less than 1.00 on the cylinder column), pre-made lenses denoted by this symbol could be suitable. They provide lenses close to your prescription.

3. RXSTEPI: This symbol may seem (and works) similar to RXSTEP, however the insert (I) ensures that the lenses will be adjusted to match your prescription more closely. The prescription insert will come separately which means it can be snapped in and out at your convenience.

4. RXADT: The RXADT symbol represents prescription adapters that sit inside the mask. This option is versatile and can accommodate almost any prescription.

5. Glue-in Lenses: If you prefer to keep your existing mask, glue-in lenses offer a solution. These lenses are glued to the pre-existing lenses in your mask and provide a custom prescription fit.
